synopsis
Michael, a graduate student not very interested in anything anymore, meets a young Spanish student who might break him out of his ennui.
Lana, a unhappily married secretary, falls further and further into despair.
Raphael, an aging professor, attempts to build a bridge to something meaningful or to somebody who can love him.
Though all of their lives intersect, none of them connect to anything and everybody remains lost traveling down a path of darkness.

This play received two staged readings at Reed College in April and May of 2001.
Intersections received its World Premiere on September 27th, 2001. The cast for the production was as follows:

- Sarah McMurray as Casey
The premiere production was directed by Jane Bulnes-Fowles, and included original music by Dan Roehl. The set designer was Pen Stanton, the lighting designer was Chris Huge, the costume designer was Cara W. Carr, the properties master was Kate Rutledge-Jaffe, and it featured makeup by Amber Reed. The production stage manager was Kate Piatt-Eckert.
